INFORMATION
Melissa
Sugar received her BA from the University of
Texas. She graduated from the Syracuse University
College of Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of
the SYRACUSE JOURNAL OF INTERNATIONAL LAW AND
COMMERCE. Her article on The Deregulation of
Comsat: Will Competition Alone Be the Answer? was
published in the same journal. She has completed
her LL.M., Masters in Tax Law, through the
University of Denver's Graduate Tax Program.
She is a member of
the Colorado Bar Association (where she is active
in the Tax, Business and Trust & Estate
Sections, and Elder Law Forum), and the Denver Bar
Association, the Estate Planning Council of
Southeast Denver and the Women's Estate Planning
Council, where she is a Board Member, the Southeast
Metro Law Club, the National Academy of Elder Law
Attorneys; the Planned Giving Committee of the
Arthritis Foundation, and volunteers with the
Colorado Lawyers for the Arts.
